About Scott

Consulting a mental health professional can be a difficult step. All people face psychological challenges in their lives, whether they are going through a separation, are experiencing depression or anxiety, or are having legal problems related to alcohol or drug misuse or abuse. I want to help. I am a Scott Holzman, PhDlicensed clinical psychologist with over 25+ years of experience providing a wide range of services, including individual psychotherapy, couples counseling, and group therapy. In working with clients, I draw from a variety of theoretical approaches and use my clinical experience to apply them to each individual’s situation.

For couples who are separating or divorcing, I am trained as a mediator, a collaborative divorce coach, a child specialist, and a parent coordinator. As a collaborative practitioner, I often work with a team that includes attorneys, mental health professionals, and financial specialists to help couples resolve their disputes respectfully, without going to court.
